This month the Park Street facility of Xplore Tech has been
shifted to a new location in Sector V, Kolkata.
It feels great to be the part of the core IT crowd of Kolkata, but, at
the same time we also feel nostalgic about Chowringhee Mansion, where our Park
Street facility was situated. There is so much memories, both good and bad,
attached to that place.
Therefore, we decided to take you for a walk down the memory
lane and remember the good old days that we spent at the heart of the city.
Park Street Facility: our Park Street facility was situated
at a few yards distance from Park Street metro station, Maidan and the national
museum. It was very near to New Market and all the best restaurants of the city
were close by. The place had a positive
vibe around it; after all, it was the posh entertainment zone of the city.
Our Park Street facility also had this positive vibe. All the employees shared great inter-personal
relationships. Amiable, enthusiastic and
a never give up attitude are something that defines our Park Street office.
They are always ready to take up new challenges both in work and out of it.
At our park Street facility we used to organize different
competitions including poster making, rangoli making, drawing, singing and much
more. Everyone used to take part in it and had a great time together. All those things are history now. However, we really hope that once our new
facility begins its operation in full capacity, we will be able to organize
those competitions once again.
But one thing we are going to miss big time now that we are
not in Park Street – our tournaments! Each year in summer and in winter we used
to organize football and cricket tournaments respectively. Now, we are located in Sector V. so, we will
not get a chance to organize those tournaments.
Anyway, relocation means a new beginning, a new hope. In
this new office we hope to create more memories and work together for a better
future. We are Xplorers after all, we will find new ways to create happy
memories everywhere we go.
